Lehi runs its own electric utility, so the rebate picture here is different from the rest of Utah County. This page sorts it out.
Lehi Elite Insulation put this guide together because the question comes up on nearly every inspection. Three programs matter in northern Utah County: ThermWise from Enbridge Gas, Wattsmart from Rocky Mountain Power, and Lehi City Power's own rebates. Which ones apply depends on who sends your bills. Amounts below are copied from the utilities' pages and dated. The utilities set the rules, not us, so confirm before you count on a number.

Rebates follow the utility, not the city limits. Look at your bills. Natural gas in Utah County comes from Enbridge Gas (formerly Dominion Energy Utah). Electricity is either Rocky Mountain Power or a city-owned utility.

Lehi City Power's service area and rebate list confirmed on the city's site September 30, 2026. Electric providers for the other cities are the typical case; a few addresses near city boundaries differ, so the bill is the final word. Some edge addresses in Lehi may be served by Rocky Mountain Power.
The main insulation rebate for Lehi homes. Paid per square foot of insulation installed, with R-value rules per surface. Contractor-installed attic, wall, and floor work must be done by a ThermWise authorized contractor. Self-install is allowed for those three. Air sealing must be contractor-installed to ThermWise specifications.

Worked example, general guidance only: a 1,500 sq ft attic taken from R-19 to R-49 adds R-30, which clears the Tier 1 threshold. 1,500 × $0.32 = $480. Air sealing the same 1,500 sq ft single-story home: $200 + (1,500 × $0.10) = $350. Confirm current amounts with Enbridge before you count on either number.
Not available on Lehi City Power. For RMP customers in Saratoga Springs, American Fork, Eagle Mountain, and the rest of the county, the rules are stricter than ThermWise but the wall and floor amounts are higher for electrically heated homes.

Lehi City Power's energy conservation rebates cover clothes washers, dishwashers, freezers, refrigerators, electric water heaters, lighting fixtures, portable evaporative coolers, and room air conditioners through UAMPS, plus ThermWise rebates on gas equipment such as furnaces and water heaters. No insulation, attic, wall, or weatherization rebate is listed.

No. Lehi City Power's energy conservation rebates cover appliances, lighting, evaporative coolers, and room air conditioners, plus ThermWise gas equipment rebates. There is no attic, wall, or weatherization rebate on the city's list as of September 30, 2026. For most Lehi homes, ThermWise through Enbridge Gas is the insulation rebate path.
For contractor-installed attic, wall, and floor insulation, yes. The contractor has to be on Enbridge's ThermWise authorized contractor list. Self-installed attic, wall, and floor insulation is also allowed. Air sealing has to be done by an authorized contractor and meet ThermWise specifications.
Only if you are a customer of both utilities: Enbridge Gas for natural gas and Rocky Mountain Power for electricity. Each program has its own rules and forms. Most Lehi homes are on Lehi City Power rather than RMP, so for them the answer is ThermWise only.
Not for Wattsmart. Rocky Mountain Power excludes homes built within the last 10 years. ThermWise does not list a home-age rule, but the attic rebate requires adding at least R-19 (Tier 1) or R-11 (Tier 2) and finishing between R-49 and R-60, and a 6-year-old attic is often already close to R-49.
Wattsmart applications must be submitted within 180 days of the work being completed. Enbridge's ThermWise page does not state a deadline for weatherization rebates as of our last check, but program terms change, so apply promptly and keep your invoice and before-and-after photos.
